Highlights
A burst of sales following Hurricane Irene gave retailers a 1.3 percent lift in the September 10 week, according to ICSC-Goldman's same-store sales tally where the year-on-year rate rose six tenths to plus 3.3 percent. The report sees a solid close for the back-to-school season over the next few weeks though it's full-month target for September, at an ex-gas year-on-year plus 3.0 to 4.0 percent, is unchanged from August. Redbook is up at 8:55 a.m. ET.
