Atlanta Fed President Dennis Lockhart argued today that the Fed is not out of bullets. But for now he stated that there is no lack of liquidity in the banking system. Should additional quantitative easing be needed, one of sufficient size should be effective, according to the Atlanta Fed chief. Even though the Atlanta Fed lowered its internal forecast for the economy, Lockhart says he still expects modest but positive growth.
