Highlights
Week-to-week sales at the nation's chain stores were unchanged in the October 13 week, according to ICSC-Goldman's tally whose year-on-year rate edged one tenth higher to plus 2.7 percent which is also the four-week average. The report notes that falling temperatures are keeping up traffic as shoppers hunt for seasonal goods. The report sees steady sales rates through October. Redbook will post its weekly results later this morning at 8:55 a.m. ET.
