Online recruiting picked up briskly in June based on the Monster employment index which jumped 6 points to 153. Demand is strongest in transportation & warehousing which points to activity in the supply chain. In another positive, the report says retail trade is regaining momentum.

Definition
The Monster Employment Index is a comprehensive monthly analysis of U.S. online job demand. It is conducted by Monster Worldwide, Inc. and is based on a real-time review of a large, representative selection of career sites and job boards, including Monster," according to Monster Worldwide.
