PriorActual
Level45.1 45.2

Highlights
Consumer confidence readings have been holding onto the bulk of their post-election gains but have failed to push higher. The consumer comfort index came in at 45.2 in the January 15 week, up 1 tenth from the prior week but well down from the mid-December post-election peak at 46.7. Still, the index is strong and reflects confidence in the jobs outlook.
