Job openings are getting filled, based on JOLTS data that are pointing to increasing tightness in the labor market. Stocks and bonds were little changed for a second day ahead of tomorrow's testimony from Janet Yellen who will also speak on Thursday. The Dow reversed yesterday's fractional loss with a fractional gain to 21,409. Oil firmed back over $45 with gold steady near $1,215. Gains in the euro once again made for a dip in the dollar index, down 0.3 percent to 95.76.
