Market Focus
Tuesday: Inflation will be Tuesday's focus. The PCE price index and the employment cost index will both be out at 8:30 a.m. ET. An upward surprise in either, especially the benefits category of the ECI, could reawaken concern over inflation. The Conference Board at 10:00 a.m. will then post readings for inflation expectations -- a favorite topic among Fed officials.
