Highlights
Store sales are soft according to ICSC-UBS's tally which shows a week-to-week decline of 0.7 percent in the June 23 week for a year-on-year pace of only 1.7 percent. The report said cool weather hurt demand for summer goods, noting that the pull back in gasoline prices has yet to boost sales. The report is calling for June sales to rise only 2 percent year-on-year, down from May's already moderate pace of 2.5 percent.
