Highlights
Retail sales held steady in what ICSC-UBS describes as an uneventful Aug. 25 week. Same-store sales rose 0.3 percent week-on-week with the year-on-year rate down 2 tenths to a moderate 2.5 percent. For comparison, year-on-year sales rose 2.6 percent in July. The report said weather in the week was warm but wet. Redbook is up next.
